Chris Reeve, a South African-born knifemaker, founded his company with a single vision: to create the finest folding knife the world has ever seen. Moving to Boise, Idaho in the 1980s, he developed the Sebenza — a Zulu word meaning “work” — which revolutionised the industry with its integral lock, tight tolerances, and elegant simplicity. Every CRK knife is hand-assembled by a small team of artisans using aerospace-grade titanium and premium steels. The wait times can be long, but those who own a Chris Reeve know: this is what perfection feels like. Today, alongside his wife Anne, Chris continues to push the boundaries of what a folding knife can be.
